If you have been away from Diamond Dynasty for a few days, the New Threads Trade Deadline content is worth another look. It is still available, and it gives you a useful way to add new-team cards without emptying your account. A few carefully chosen purchases of MLB The Show 26 Stubs can help fill a collection gap, but you should start with the rewards you can earn for free. The program focuses on players who moved clubs around the real MLB trade deadline, so the cards carry their updated uniforms and feel different from ordinary roster items.

What You Can Earn

The reward path is built around Moments, Missions, and steady game progress. You will pick up New Threads Series cards featuring names such as Tarik Skubal, Jo Adell, Taylor Ward, and Arjun Nimmala, along with packs and stubs. A Deluxe New Threads Pack appears close to the end of the path, giving you another chance at a useful card. These items are separate from Live Series cards, Spotlight content, and regular Legends or Flashbacks. That detail matters, because only New Threads cards count towards the dedicated collection.

Build The Collection Carefully

The collection needs 23 cards for full completion. Its milestone rewards include Justin Verlander and Kyle Tucker versions, while Bo Bichette sits at the last milestone. Do not rush straight to the Marketplace. First, open every program pack, check your binder, and look through the Trade Deadline Pack in the Show Shop. You may already own more of the required cards than you realise. The program supplies a good share of the set, which leaves fewer expensive purchases later. In some cases, collection progress also adds to your program total, so the same cards can help in two places.

Make Each Game Count

Moments are the quickest route when they ask for a New Threads player or any version of a traded star. For missions tied to Parallel XP, use a lineup packed with eligible hitters and pitchers in Mini Seasons or Conquest. You do not need to force every objective into one game. Rotate players naturally, especially those listed in any-version missions. Offline games can also advance the 6th Inning XP Path and Field of Dreams objectives, which makes a short session feel much more productive. Keep an eye on mission wording; one small lineup change can save several games.

Use The Cards Beyond The Set

Once the collection is complete, put the new cards into Ranked, Events, or Mini Seasons rather than leaving them in storage. Their Parallel XP can improve the cards while you work on other programs, and several have useful team fits for theme lineups. The content remains available ahead of the August 14 update, which brings roster attribute changes, Chase Pack 22 with Milestone Stan Musial, and a Field of Dreams recap program. Spend carefully, claim the free rewards first, and use cheap MLB 26 Stubs only when a missing card is genuinely worth the cost.
